Meet Judge Bonnie F. Jackson
Judge Bonnie Jackson is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and the LSU Law Center. She is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana Bar Association and is Past President of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society. In 2012, she received the LSU Law Center's Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, a tribute to her public service to our community, and is a former member of the LSU Law Alumni Board of Trustees.
She served in the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Defender's Office for 14 years before being elected Judge in the 19th Judicial District of Louisiana.
Judge Jackson is a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she teaches an adult Sunday School Class. She is married to attorney Carl Jackson. They are the proud parents of two children, Courtney Jackson Burdette and Christopher Jackson and proud grandparents of Payton Brooke Burdette.
